Single use plastics are a huge issue, and it's no secret. But it would be a challenge to start off with giant steps. That's why I propose we start small. Start with one state.

New Jersey citizens, you have the power to be the model for our country. We are running out of time on this issue. We need someone to show our country, our leader, and our world what just one group can do. If one state can ban single use plastics for good, the rest of the country can. I need your help to tell our government that we have had enough. We are sick of their lies and fairytales. We are sick of empty promises and fantasy worlds. We are sick of leaders so afraid of change that they refuse to listen to blatant facts.

We have known that this is an issue for a long time. But our government refusing to take action is why this continues to be an issue. Our Earth is desperately crying out for change, and if we don't take action now it will soon be too late.

That's why I'm calling upon the citizens of my state. Be the model for the rest of the country. Be the model for our president. Be the model for the world. All we need is your signature.

Even if our state government doesn't care about the damage to the Earth, we all can make personal changes. Even the smallest of things can make a difference. So don't just sign and share this petition. Act now in your own life. Remember, you can set an example for the rest of the world.
