When you walk into a pet store probably the first thing you would see is cute animals right? This is not the case for Betta fish. PetSmart keeps these innocent creature contained in plastic cups with barely enough room to swim around. IS THIS HOW WE ARE SUPPOSED TO TREAT A LIVING ANIMAL? Plastic can warp leaking extremely harsh chemicals that harm the fish and threaten the Betta´s survival. Most Bettas are not sold within a week and are left on the shelves without proper care. I think we need to change our ways, don´t you?! These animals are not less than any other animal on the planet.  Please sign if you agree that PetSmart must start treating Betta fish more humanely.
