As of right now petsmart gold fish holding tanks are far too overcrowded. As you can see in the pictures they are far too overcrowded for it to be morally correct.  It is recommended to have 42 gallons for 2 goldfish. Thousands are dying from malnutrition and space issues. Pet store holding tanks are definitely not big enough to hold the countless goldfish they have.they should only have 6 goldfish at max. we’re not asking that though. we’re asking to reduce the size by 2/3. Animals aren’t ours to begin with and because of pet stores fish will be extinct in 40 years. Taking exotic fish from their natural homes is inhuman. You can help stop this by signing this petition for us to present to the CEO of petsmart and working on change for the better. The planet is counting on us and change is due.
