Hi, I am starting this petition to express my feelings on the company name. When the company changed the name to “PetSmart” in 1987 might have been the biggest mistake the corporation has ever made. It simply doesn’t make any sense. Pets are not smart, that’s a fact, that’s why people call them pets, so people feel superior, which is a fact.

The corporation should be named “PetsMart.” Reason being is because it is simply a mart for Pets. There’s no other explanation. It makes sense, you go to the ‘mart’ and shop for your ‘pet’ it makes sense.

It’s what the people want! This is what America wants, and it needs to change, now!
