We recently visited the store to look at their adoptable puppies and saw a tortoise that was born there in 1995. His enclosure is about 15 x 20 feet, nothing else except a food bowl and a water bowl. We watched in dismay as this poor creature endlessly made laps around this enclosure. It appears that is all the creature does every day.  A sign says he walks around the store in the early morning but is otherwise in this rather small enclosure. It seems to me there has to be a better environment for this animal as he is only 23 years old and will live many more years.  Please see video to see exactly how sad the conditions are.  https://youtu.be/RI458nY3Qp0
