IT IS TIME, Memphis! The council committee agenda for Tue. 26 January, has been released! It will be heard at 11:45am in committee.

Re: City of Memphis Code of Ordinances to amend Chapter 5 "Animals and Fowl" to create Article V to restrict the "Retail Sale of Dogs and Cats at Pet Stores."

All Council Districts. Sponsored by Councilmen Morgan and Warren and Administration.

Now is the time for people to reach out to their assigned councilperson as well as the super district representatives to voice their support! Please share this and encourage everyone to lift their voice! If we can get 70-some people out in the cold on a street corner, we should be able to overwhelm them with our responses!

It is recommended that you DO NOT MASS EMAIL all council members at once as those types of communication can easily be overlooked.

You can tune in on Tuesday and watch the proceedings. The proposed change will be read and then it will then need to go through three readings with full council. We still have work to do!
