For those of you following along.. today we protested from 12p-2p (some of us started even earlier!) - and despite a flurry of snow at least 70 people were there during that time - we lined every corner of The Commons' intersection!   (We also discovered that the sign on the lease location has been removed!) 

I am so proud of our community! The youngest protester was (about) -5 months old and kicking his Momma from inside. There were four other littles braving the cold in their masks and sporting their "Petland / Puppy Mills suck!" signs! I don't know who our most experienced supporter was... but I do know one of them drove 6 hours to protest Petland with us!

A major shout out to EVERYONE that attended and I'm afraid this is just going to be one step of many.  Memphis Animal Services will be carrying the legal banner on 26 JAN, so fingers crossed our protest, our petition and their charge will stop this company from sullying our community!

A special thank you to the fosters and rescue groups that represented today - I know you are out there every single day taking in the homeless, pulling from the shelter and working tirelessly to help fight against an overwhelming tide.
