As a reminder!  Please do not shop at Petland - they will be nothing but a burden to the Memphis community!  It's clear other communities feel the same. 

Instead, visit your local shelter or work with a reputable rescue near you .. in this community the list of rescue groups goes on and on - and they are always begging for fosters or adoptions - and that should tell you something right there about Memphis' needs!

We need more homes and adopters, not more puppies and kittens from a retail store.

Shelters are often overwhelmed (especially city ones) with available pets  and rescues will likely have plenty of means to help you find the perfect pet - locally or abroad! 

Some of us remember not that long ago when MAS said there was nothing to see... and then undercover video was released, criminal abuse indictments came down. People went to jail and the community was horrified (or proven right) that this was taking place. It's taken a long time for change to start to happen. 

Go and Google "Petland" - dead dogs in bags in the freezer, dogs untreated for illness/injury, dead rabbits... it's not one instance. It's not one isolated "that was a long time ago" matter.  

Petland can say what they want about their practices and their promises ..  but the evidence shows other.

We don't need Petland. We don't want Petland.
