A little digging shows that Petland is a franchisor - which means someone has INTENTIONALLY sought to be a franchisee of their store in OUR area.  Who thought this was a good idea?

According to the page below it takes about $300K-$1m to open one of these stores.

Anyone care to try and find out who this is? Is it someone local? Someone that knows the area? How could ANYONE familiar with Memphis think that we need MORE puppies and kittens to sell to our community? Clearly someone that has not done their research.  

A total outsider?
