Petition to Terminate Contract with Ramco Security Services

The Issue

We, the undersigned homeowners and members of The Reserve At Aviana and Aviana Homeowners Association, hereby demand that the Aviana Board of Directors take immediate action to terminate the contract with Ramco Security Services. Our community’s safety and well-being are paramount, and the current security arrangement with Ramco has proven to be grossly inadequate.

Reasons for Termination:

 1. Subpar Security Services: The security provided by Ramco is subpar at best. Despite paying a high price, we receive low-cost service that fails to meet our community’s needs and expectations.

 2. Multiple Security Breaches: There have been numerous incidents of security breaches under Ramco’s watch. These incidents have compromised the safety and security of our community, causing significant concern among residents.

 3. Recent Dangerous Incident: This past weekend, a severe security breach led to an unsanctioned party within our community. The event escalated to gunshots and a high-speed police chase, endangering the lives of all residents. This is an unacceptable risk that must be addressed immediately.

      4. Ongoing Complaints and Emergency Response Issues: There is ample documentation of past complaints from homeowners, highlighting Ramco’s consistent failure to provide adequate security. These complaints have gone unaddressed, further demonstrating Ramco’s inability to fulfill their contractual obligations. Additionally, there have been significant issues with emergency response vehicles accessing our community due to a lack of emergency access through the owner’s gate, insufficient signage, and the absence of a guard to address these problems in real-time. This has repeatedly put lives at risk.

The current system with Ramco does not work and has consistently failed to provide the security and peace of mind that we, as residents, deserve. The recent incident serves as a stark reminder that our safety is at risk, and it is imperative to take swift action to prevent a potentially worse situation in the future.

We demand that the Aviana Board of Directors:

 1. Terminate the Contract with Ramco: End the agreement with Ramco Security Services immediately due to their failure to provide adequate security and protect our community.
 2. Seek a Reliable Security Provider: Initiate the search for a new, reputable security service provider that can ensure the safety and security of our residents.
 3. Prioritize Community Safety: Put the lives and safety of our residents ahead of any other considerations. Immediate action is necessary to prevent future incidents and restore our confidence in the community’s security.

By signing this petition, we express our united stance and urgency in addressing this critical issue. Our community’s safety must be the top priority, and we trust that the Board of Directors will take the necessary steps to protect us.

Please take prompt and decisive action to ensure the safety and well-being of our community. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.
