We, the undersigned, call on Suffolk County Council to implement a mandatory 20mph speed limit zone along Holton Road, covering the section between the Halesworth (Post Office) roundabout and the entrance to Hill Farm Road. This zone is critical due to the narrow bridge and existing physical obstructions. Furthermore, installing a 30mph terminal sign at the end of this new zone would represent the first-ever speed sign installed to finally remind drivers that Holton Road actually has a speed limit. These changes will improve road safety, protect pedestrian residents, and enhance the quality of life for the local community.
