We the undersigned, wish to express our deep concern regarding the decision to cancel the local Pig & Calf Sundry Sale.

This sale has been a long - standing part of our community & holds significant value for many residents. It is more than just a sale it provides a regular weekly outing & an important opportunity for social connection, particularly for older members of our community who rely on it as a chance to get out, interact, and stay engaged.

The Pig & Calf Sale has a rich history in our area & has long been a place where people come together, fostering a strong sense of community spirit & local support.

We respectfully ask that this decision be reconsidered. We believe there may be reasonable solutions that could be explored to address any concerns, rather than proceeding directly to cancellation.

It is not fair that the majority are impacted by the actions or misgivings of a minority. Surely there is a way forward that allows this valued community event to continue.
