We, the students and parents of Greenwood High, are deeply saddened by the news of Principal Dmello's departure from our school. Principal Dmello has been an integral part of our educational journey ever since the inception of the IB curriculum at our school. His unwavering dedication, exceptional leadership, and genuine care for each student have left an indelible mark on all of us.

Throughout our years at Greenwood High, Principal Dmello has been more than just an administrator. He has been a mentor, a guide, and a trusted confidant. In times of triumph and challenges, he has stood by our side, providing unwavering support and encouragement. Principal Dmello has cultivated an environment where we feel safe, valued, and loved—a place we proudly call our second home.

The thought of Principal Dmello not being there to hand us our certificates and bid us farewell as we embark on our journey into the world in the upcoming years is incredibly difficult to accept. His presence has been a constant source of comfort and inspiration, and imagining our school lives without him is truly disheartening.

The prospect of a new principal is daunting and uncertain. Principal Dmello has built a strong foundation of trust and understanding with the students and parents. His familiarity with our strengths, weaknesses, and aspirations has helped shape our educational experiences. Losing him would mean losing the stability and warmth that he has provided throughout our time at Greenwood High.

As we approach the end of this semester, we are determined to do everything in our power to persuade Principal Dmello to reconsider his decision. We have only a few weeks left before bidding our final goodbyes, and we are prepared to go to great lengths to demonstrate our gratitude and convince him to stay.

We humbly request the school administration and board to consider our heartfelt plea. Let us join forces and unite in our efforts to retain Principal Dmello, preserving the excellence 

and leadership that he has brought to our school. Together, we can show him the immense love and appreciation we hold for him, making it clear that his departure would create an irreplaceable void in our school community.
