Petition to retain Kim Peters as Recreation Superintendent, Rutland Vermont
The Issue
We, the undersigned residents of Rutland City and surrounding communities urge Mayor Michael Doenges and the Rutland City Board of Aldermen to reconsider the decision to remove Kim Peters as Recreation Superintendent. Kim has been an exceptional leader, expanding programs, integrating the former College of St Joseph gymnasium and fostering a strong dedicated team. Her hard work and vision have enriched our community, providing valuable recreational opportunities for residents of all ages.
The mayor himself has publicly acknowledged and praised Ki's contributions, yet no clear reason have been given for her removal. We believe major leadership changes should involve transparency and public input. We call on city officials to listen to the overwhelming community support for Kim and retain her in this role. Please sign this petition to support keeping an outstanding public servant at the head of our city's Recreation Department
