Mr Rossi has caused many challenges for students and teachers regarding safety and comfort. These challenges include dress code, phones, and restroom use. Along with this, despite his quoted, 'Deep respect for the Arts', he has been trying to get rid of our single choir class.

One of the common things is the issue of enforcement across sex. Males can wear basketball shorts that show their undergarments, yet females cannot wear shorts above the knee. The dress code for teachers is incredibly rigid, as female teachers can only wear dresses and pant suits and male teachers can only wear dress shirts with ties or a suit jacket.

Students are allowed 2 bathroom passes per semester, per class. One of the things Mr. Rossi is trying to get is gates for the bathrooms, which may cause accidents in kids that are way too old to be having accidents.

There are genuine threats to life here, as some kids need to have their phones on them in case of medical emergency, like children who have their diabetes monitor on their phone, or people that have panic attacks where they think irrationally. Along with this, parents need to be able to get in contact with their kids, some parents text their kid throughout the day, and others need to text their kid to tell them they will be late picking them up or to walk to a friend's house instead of their own.

Mr Rossi claims he needs to protect the teachers, to keep them safe, but in the process he is hurting the students and making them uncomfortable.
