Petition to remove current leadership

We, the undersigned members of 1199 SEIU United HealthCare Workers East employed by New York Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia University Medical Center, hereby express of complete loss of confidence in the current union leadership comprised of Jacqueline Alleyne, Michael Ashby, Madeline Bovain, Janette Caba-Rivera, Sherry Ann Coulibaly, and Roberta Keener. We cite the following reasons for the lack of faith in their leadership abilities: lack of qualifications, lack of visibility, lack of integrity, lack of transparency, union busting from within, dishonest behavior, failure to represent members impartially, failure to ensure due process for members, failure to and/or delays in scheduling grievance hearings, intimidation and harassment of members, and various other concerns. Therefore, we respectfully request the immediate removal of the aforementioned leadership due to inadequate performance and failure to serve the best interests of the union membership.
