Dear Etheridge Property Management and residents of Logan Place,

My name is Allison Holmberg, and I volunteered for and was appointed the HOA board position of treasurer earlier in April 2024.

Since the evening of the meeting, as soon as the doors to the church were locked, I was warned by the current board president, Lisette Jones, and secretary, Sharron Harris, to not give into the antics of another resident that seemed to always give them problems. In the days after, I was sent text messages from Lisette with screenshots of emails between herself and another resident. Her (Lisette) response to me agreeing to her response was stating “This is some Gary crap…” and then went on to say “I had to curse him out in the street about some minutes. I told him he was a ‘useless, bitter old man, that nobody wants’ and to “get the hell away from me”.

Moving on to July 14, 2024- after an evening walk to gather information on violations, Sharron, myself, and Lisette (Jorge was unavailable) attended a dinner at Golden Corral to discuss the new Florida statutes as well as the new Facebook group that was suggested. During that dinner, while discussing (or gossiping, rather) an ordeal that occurred on Facebook about the bylaws, I was spoken at- not with, and dismissed when I had anything to say that went against what Sharron and Lisette said or believed. I was then told that “this is not a kid-friendly neighborhood and if people don’t like it, move”.

Presently, there is discourse within the board. Jorge has been MIA, Lisette and Sharron have both demanded (without discussion among the board) through both text within and outside of our group chat and phone calls that I change things within the new Facebook group, and when I disagreed with Sharron and Lisette about a feature on Facebook they told me that this specific thing was “not going to work” and it was more than likely “Gary”.

Furthermore- there are many residents who have consistently disagreed with what the board has been doing. These residents have also expressed concerns that “power” has gone to the heads of the board. There have also been concerns about Lisette and Sharron trying to make a nonresident (Earl) a member of the HOA board.

I, speaking for the majority of HOA members, feel it would be in the best interest of the community of Logan Place to remove both Lisette and Sharron from their positions on the board and re-elect new officers in their place.
