Dear BAR Leadership and Board of Directors,

We, the undersigned members of the Birmingham Association of REALTORS®, respectfully submit this petition to formally request the reinstatement of TransactionDesk as our association’s primary transaction management software.

For several years, TransactionDesk proved to be a user-friendly, efficient, and highly functional tool that allowed agents to seamlessly manage transactions, obtain electronic signatures, and customize their workflows to meet their business needs. The transition to Remine has unfortunately resulted in widespread dissatisfaction among members due to its lack of user-friendliness, frequent glitches, and limited customization options.

Since the implementation of Remine, our productivity and efficiency have been negatively impacted, causing frustration and unnecessary obstacles in an already demanding real estate market. A significant majority of BAR members share this sentiment and strongly believe that reinstating TransactionDesk will restore a smoother, more reliable workflow for our transactions.

We understand that software transitions are made with the best interests of members in mind. However, when a system fails to meet the needs of those it was intended to serve, it is crucial to reassess the decision. In this case, returning to TransactionDesk will not only enhance operational efficiency but also reinforce the Association’s commitment to providing the best possible tools for its members.

We urge the Board to take immediate action to reinstate TransactionDesk as the preferred transaction management system for BAR members. We appreciate your consideration and look forward to a resolution that supports the success of all REALTORS® within our Association.
