Petition to Protect Online Casinos in Florida

To: The Florida Supreme Court, Governor of Florida, and State Legislature

We, the undersigned, urge the Florida Supreme Court to protect the rights of residents to access and enjoy online casinos.

Recently, the Court has taken steps toward halting online casino operations in Florida, potentially depriving residents of their ability to engage in legal, regulated online gaming. We strongly oppose these actions for the following reasons:

1. Personal Freedom & Choice: Adults should have the right to make their own decisions regarding entertainment and online gaming. Preventing access to online casinos restricts personal freedoms and ignores the growing demand for legal, digital gaming options.

2. Economic Benefits: Online casinos generate significant tax revenue for Florida, funding essential public services such as education, infrastructure, and healthcare. Shutting them down could lead to job losses and reduced state income.

3. Consumer Protection: Legal, regulated online casinos ensure consumer protections against fraud, underage gambling, and unfair practices. Banning them will drive players toward unregulated, offshore platforms that lack oversight and security.

4. Technological Advancement & Industry Growth: Florida has the opportunity to be a leader in digital gaming innovation. Instead of restricting online casinos, the state should embrace regulations that support responsible gaming while fostering economic growth.

We call on the Florida Supreme Court to halt any actions that would ban or restrict online casinos and instead support fair regulations that balance consumer protections with economic benefits.
