Ban Dangerous Kratom Products

We, respectfully urge our elected officials to take immediate action to protect our communities from the growing dangers associated with kratom and its highly concentrated alkaloid, 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH).

While kratom is often marketed as a natural herbal supplement, increasing evidence has raised concerns about its potential risks. Reports have linked kratom use to serious adverse effects, including seizures, hallucinations, liver injury, respiratory depression, addiction, and, in some cases, death. 

Our family lost our beloved son and brother, Timothy after exposure to kratom. No family should have to experience the unimaginable pain of losing someone they love to a product that is readily available with little public awareness of its potential dangers. Every day, we live with a loss that can never be replaced. 

We respectfully ask lawmakers to:

* Ban dangerous kratom products, including those containing high concentrations of 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH).

* Increase public education regarding the potential risks associated with kratom use.

Every signature represents someone who believes that one preventable death is one too many.
