Because of your support and your voice, we have made another small step towards an acceptable health and safety standard in our community. Thank you to all of you who e mailed an impact letter. This had a strong effect on our decision makers. More impact letters can be e mailed to dickenscommunitywatch@hotmail.com Our MLA Mable Elmore and our MP Don Davies are both looking into the possibility of a red light district. They are also writing letters to advocate for traffic calming solutions and for the police to enforce the laws. We have noticed the police are responding to calls with greater frequency. The city has helped in cleaning up some graffiti and unruly properties around the community. There is more work to be done but it is a start.
