We, the undersigned alumni, parents, students, staff, and community members, respectfully express our concern regarding the proposed closure of our school and its merger with Kennedy High School for the 2026–2027 school year.

This school represents more than a facility—it is a foundation for opportunity, identity, and community connection. Generations have been educated here, relationships have been built, and futures have been shaped within these walls.

Student Stability: Transitions of this scale can disrupt academic progress, social development, and support systems.
Community Impact: The school serves as a vital anchor for families and neighborhood engagement.
Access & Equity: Changes in location and structure may create new barriers for students and families.
