Look. This Nike/Fanatics partnership just isn’t cutting it. True fanatics want the ability to purchase sideline gear. We want the ability to purchase what our favorite coach or player is wearing. Not only that, we want the quality of what we purchase to actually be good.

Since the partnership, sideline gear has become extremely limited. Week in and week out there’s a new item on the field that I’d like to buy as a fan, but don’t have that option because it’s not available to the public. For instance, my team’s head coach, Kirby Smart, has been seen sporting a “Nike Shield Heavyweight” jacket with the UGA “Power G” logo. I’d purchase it in a heartbeat, especially with the temperatures dropping by the day, but the jacket has not been made available to the public.

Not only has production been limited, but I’ve seen hundreds of posts of unsatisfied customers who are receiving jerseys with different numbers on the front that what’s on the back. How does this happen? Is this the Nike standard? I don’t think so.

Nike. We want to buy your product. There are thousands of fans who want to buy what they see on TV. We ask that you either burn this partnership, or force Fanatics to uphold the Nike standard. Enough is enough.
