We, the students of River Trail Village—an on-campus housing community at Napa Valley College—are calling on the administration to grant us access to the campus gym and pool. Despite paying rent that reflects the convenience of living on school grounds, our inability to use these fitness facilities limits our opportunity to maintain a balanced lifestyle, connect with fellow students, and fully engage in the campus experience. Opening the gym and pool would not only promote wellness but also create student employment opportunities and foster an inclusive, supportive environment for everyone.
