PETITION TO MAKE HALLOWEEN LONGER!

PETITION TO MAKE HALLOWEEN LONGER!
The Issue
Greetings! If you're here, you're surely interested in what the title says, correct? Good!
I, as a loyal participator of Halloween for exactly 22 years, have created this petition to make Halloween a bit longer.
The concept? Easy as pie!
We always have leftover candy from Halloween. Most of us save it for some later months or for just eating on Halloween day, but I thought up an idea. This is merely the tip of the iceberg.
If Halloween instead started on October 27th or 28th, it would make Halloween four to five days long, ending the second the clock strikes 12:00 AM on October 31st. Now, for the important parts...
If you're a parent, here is the easy cycle of not having to keep buying candy for the longer Halloween days:
- Buy candy!(so essential...)
2. Your kid(s) get candy and bring it home!
3. Take the some candy, so if your candy bowl that you've been handing candy out with is empty it is now a bit more full!
(Leave some left for your poor ol' kiddo)
4. The next day, your child goes trick or treating again and gets more candy! You take the candy and leave some for the kid, and the cycle begins again.
If you're not a parent, then the cycle would be like this:
For those who aren't parents, here's a fun and creative cycle for longer Halloween days:
1. Buy candy!
(Halloween always starts with a full stash.)
2. Set up a "Trick-or-Swap" station!
(Every day, when trick-or-treaters stop by, you give out candy, but you can also invite them to swap candy. This way, you're not just giving out treats but receiving different types back! If you're feeling adventurous, you can swap decorations or spooky trinkets too.)
3. Visit themed events or haunted houses!
(Enjoy longer Halloween days by attending Halloween events each day. You can stock up on any treats given there to bring home and refill your candy bowl.)
4. Join local trick-or-treating routes!
(Even if you're an adult, there's no rule against dressing up and joining in on the fun. Participate in neighborhood or community trick-or-treating events. You collect candy and can add some to your stash at home. This is basically only if you're not alone and can have somebody at home serving the trick-or-treaters.)
5. Refresh your bowl daily with candy from swaps or events!
(If you’re running low, no worries! The events and trick-or-swap station will keep your candy bowl refreshed without constantly needing to restock from the store.)
I'd love to see Halloween get longer! Sign the petition and maybe we can get the attention of multiple people and get it to happen all over the U.S. and maybe even other countries.
Love y'all. Have a good one, and happy spooky month! <3
