Petition to Keep NFL RedZone Commercial-Free

The Issue

For years, NFL RedZone has been the highlight of football fans' weekends, delivering the excitement of every game without interruptions. It’s where we go to catch every touchdown, every big play, and every "witching hour" moment—all without interruptions. The promise of "seven hours of commercial-free football" wasn’t just a tagline; it was a commitment to fans and the game itself. It made RedZone stand out and it’s why so many of us subscribed in the first place.

Now, that’s changing. NFL RedZone has started showing ads. For years, we’ve trusted this program to deliver an uninterrupted experience. This shift feels like a betrayal of the loyal fans who made RedZone what it is. Sundays used to be sacred for football action—no distractions, just the game we love. Adding commercials cheapens that experience and takes away from what made RedZone special.

RedZone was one of the last places where football came first. It was one of the last places where sports came first and where fans were treated with respect. The decision to introduce ads undermines that trust and shows a disregard for the experience fans have come to rely on.

We’re asking the NFL and its partners to reconsider this change. Fans should not have to choose between their love of the game and their tolerance for more ads, especially when you consider the amount of money we have to pay to have access to the program.

Let’s remind the NFL that fans matter. Sign this petition and join us in standing up for the RedZone we know and love. Let’s make it clear: we want the real RedZone back—the one that puts football first.
