We, the undersigned residents, frequent travelers, business professionals, students, and supporters of our local economy, respectfully urge JetBlue Airways to reinstate passenger flight service at Stewart International Airport (SWF) in New Windsor, New York.

For many years, JetBlue provided reliable, affordable, and convenient nonstop flights from Stewart — helping Hudson Valley and surrounding communities connect with destinations such as Florida and other key markets. Until service was suspended in April 2020 due to the pandemic, JetBlue was one of the region’s most popular carriers, offering valuable travel options that supported families, small businesses, and tourism.

Since JetBlue’s departure from Stewart, the region has seen fewer flight choices and less competition — despite growth in population and travel demand throughout the Hudson Valley and northern New Jersey. While other carriers like Breeze Airways and Allegiant Air have expanded or added new routes at SWF, JetBlue’s absence has been felt by many travelers who relied on its service, loyalty program, and customer experience.

We believe that:

Stewart International Airport deserves a full complement of major carriers to support local travel needs and economic development.

JetBlue’s well-known customer service and value-oriented fares can complement Stewart’s existing offerings, providing competition that benefits all travelers.

Reintroducing JetBlue flights to Stewart will help make the airport a stronger, more attractive travel hub for the Hudson Valley and beyond.

Therefore, we ask JetBlue Airways to:

✔ Announce a plan and timeline to restore regular commercial passenger service at Stewart International Airport (SWF).

✔ Re-establish nonstop flights from Stewart to key destinations that reflect both business and leisure demand.

✔ Work with local officials, travel partners, and airport authorities to ensure sustainable, long-term service.
