Petition To Investigate and Hold Thai Actresses Accountable for Dehumanization and Racism

The Issue

Asking LVMH, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Valentino, Loewe, Prada, Loro Piana, Kenneth Cole to Investigate and Drop Anne Thongprasom, Pinkamol Maleenont and Linglingkwong 鄺玲玲 After Mockery of Cambodian Civilian Deaths

People lost their lives. And they are having fun and mock the dead. We All Can Love Our Nation Without Mocking The Lives of the Innocents and Sacrifices.

What We’re Asking For

Anne Thongprasom (@annethong), a Thai actress and recognized figure in Southeast Asia, along with influencers/celebrities, Pinkamol Maleenont and Linglingkwong 鄺玲玲, recently shared a disturbing and insensitive video mocking the death of Cambodian civilians and soldiers—allegedly due to chemical weapon use by Thai forces. Her behavior is not only morally reprehensible but also deeply offensive, especially as she is a public face for international luxury brands.

We demand that the following brands:

LVMH
Louis Vuitton
Maison Valentino
Loewe
Dior
Prada
Loro Piana

immediately:

Issue a public statement condemning Ms. Thongprasom’s,Pinkamol Maleenont’s and Linglingkwong 鄺玲玲’s actions. Remove them from any ambassador, model, or “friend of the house” positions.

Conduct a transparent internal investigation into any affiliations with them.

Reinforce their brand values by adopting zero-tolerance policies for public hate and dehumanization.

Why This Matters
Ms. Thongprasom, Pinkamol Maleenont and Linglingkwong 鄺玲玲 hold large influence in Thai and international media and have represented multiple global luxury fashion houses.

Their recent social media post—targeting Cambodian citizens and the tragedy they endured—is antithetical to any brand that claims global values, respect, and dignity.

Continuing to feature them undermines brand credibility and aligns them—by association—with hate speech.

Our Voice Matters
We believe respect and empathy should govern dealings with every human life, especially in times of conflict.

Luxury brands represent more than style—they reflect values.

Silence from these brands signals complicity.

We stand with dignity and Cambodians whose lives were mocked by Anne Thongprasom, Pinkamol Maleenont and Linglingkwong 鄺玲玲. We, the people of Cambodia, call on Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Loewe, Prada, Dior and Loro Piana to investigate, remove, and denounce her immediately. We, respect, honor and celebrate lives. With do not mock death.

We would like to clarify that:

The original video clips were posted on Anne Thongprasom’s verified Instagram account (@annethong) via her Instagram Posts around July 29, 2025, after the news of the use of chemical weapons broke. The video was then deleted shortly afterward, which is why the original link is no longer accessible. The footage was screen-recorded and preserved by viewers for documentation purposes.

The Google Drive link currently used in the petition is a re-upload of the original Post content, unedited, and provided solely for public awareness and transparency.

To ensure context, we are now updating the petition text to include this clarification along with the original platform (Instagram), the username, and the timeframe of posting.

We will also note explicitly in the petition that the current video link is a re-upload due to the deletion of the original Post content and is not intended to mislead or sabotage anyone's career.

Thank you for your support in maintaining both the integrity of the platform and the accountability of public figures.
