We, the undersigned, call upon the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to recognize the Republic of Kosovo as a sovereign entity and grant it an official ISO 3166 country code.

Kosovo, a nation in the heart of the Balkans. Kosovo has been recognized as an independent state by a significant number of countries worldwide, including a growing list of UN member states.

ISO 3166 is a critical international standard that assigns unique codes to countries and dependent territories. These codes are used in various contexts, such as international trade, telecommunications, and internet domain names. By granting Kosovo an ISO 3166 country code, we enable its citizens and businesses to participate fully in the global economy and digital landscape.

Kosovo has made significant progress in its development since declaring independence. It is a member of various international organizations and has a growing economy. However, the lack of an ISO 3166 country code hampers its ability to engage fully in global trade and communication.
