The Issue

The people  believe everyone deserves a safe place to live. Homelessness is a serious issue in Los Angeles County that affects people of all ages, including children, families, veterans, and older adults. It impacts not only the people experiencing homelessness but also the health and well-being of our entire community.

We know there is no simple solution, but we believe more can be done to help. Every person deserves the opportunity to have stable housing and access to the support they need to improve their lives.

We ask Los Angeles County leaders to:

Increase affordable housing and supportive housing options.
Expand access to shelters, mental health care, healthcare, and other support services.
Create more job training and employment opportunities for people working to rebuild their lives.
Invest in programs that help prevent homelessness before people lose their housing.
Continue working with community organizations and residents to find practical, long-term solutions.
The people care about the future of our communities. We want Los Angeles County to be a place where people are treated with dignity and have the opportunity to succeed. We believe that by working together, we can make a positive difference and help reduce homelessness.

By signing this petition, we encourage our local leaders to continue investing in effective, compassionate, and responsible solutions that help people find stable housing while making our communities stronger for everyone.
