This petition is in regards to the Dual Language program that will be offered to the Kindergarten classes starting in the Fall of 2023.  Recognizing the significance of a dual language program, I am eager for my child to participate, despite the current limitation of the program being offered exclusively to Kindergarten classes. As a parent, I understand the tremendous advantages that bilingualism brings, including cognitive and academic benefits, cultural appreciation, and expanded career opportunities. I strongly believe that exposing my child to a dual language environment from an early age would contribute significantly to their overall development and future success.

I respectfully request that the school reconsider its current offering of the dual language program exclusively to Kindergarten classes and consider extending it to 1st graders starting next year (2023-2024).
