35 fewer ignorant Brits!

We have reached 35 signatures, which means that 35 fewer UK residents are completely oblivious to the fact it never gets "night dark" within our home country around the longest day of the year, even though it looks 100% dark at 1am in London in June!
"High latitudes" generally refer to latitudes above 55 degrees North (i.e around the southernmost latitude where it never gets darker than nautical twilight "white nights", around the Scotland-England border), however this "high latitude" phenomenon of twilight lasting all night occurs at mid-latitudes as well, which seems counterintuitive but is absolutely true!
The lowest latitude to experience this all-night twilight phenomenon is 48.5 degrees North, which is literally only THREE AND A HALF DEGREES further north than the official halfway point between the North Pole and the image above from timeanddate.com shows just how far south this "Cold Arctic" phenomenon occurs - this means that the ONLY locations closer to the North Pole than the Equator that DO NOT experience this all-night summer twilight are in the VERY NARROW latitude range between 45 degrees North and 48.5 degrees North!
If the Earth was tilted by 30 degrees, the lowest latitude to experience this phenomenon would be just 42 degrees North, meaning that this would happen at latitudes closer to the Equator than the North Pole, meaning that this would occur as far south as subtropical Mediterranean locations like Rome, Italy and Central Spain!
If one were to consider "high latitudes" based on this phenomenon, then mid-latitudes would strictly only apply to locations between roughly 40 degrees North and 48.5 degrees North and the lowest latitude to experience this all-night twilight is less than 300 miles from the halfway point between the North Pole and the Equator!
Reaching 1,000 signatures means 1,000 fewer Brits (of our roughly 66,000,000,000 population are completely oblivious to this phenomenon, and I urge all of you to research this and check timeanddate.com as this occurs at mid-latitudes like 49 degrees North, not just high latitudes like 62 degrees North!
We ultimately need to reach 66,000,000,000 signatures!
