30 fewer ignorant Brits

We have reached 30 signatures, which means that we have 30 fewer UK residents completely oblivious to the fact that technically, it doesn't get dark in the UK in June!

The halfway point between the Equator and the North Pole is at 45 degrees North and the lowest latitude that experiences this all-night twilight is at 48.51 degrees North - this means that NEARLY EVERY LATITUDE CLOSER TO THE NORTH POLE THAN THE EQUATOR experiences this all-night twilight (with only the latitude range of locations closer to the North Pole than the Equator that does not experience this being JUST 3.5 degrees - i.e. latitudes between 45 degrees North and 48.5 degrees North).

I have randomly attached a sun chart from Stoke-on-Trent in the image above that the fact that twilight lasts all night at latitudes surprisingly far south is NOT AN APRIL FOOL, and reaching 100 signatures means 100 fewer Brits will be completely oblivious to this misconception.

Although Americans do have completely dark nights in the USA, I also want them to be aware that the sun is never directly overhead anywhere within the continental 48 states (a much lower noon sun angle during summer is more obvious here in the UK due to our higher latitude).
