Background: 


We are residents and stakeholders of Granada Hills raising concerns regarding the proposed 98-unit elder care facility at Rinaldi & Shoshone (across from Heritage Christian School).

Statement:


The proposed project presents substantial concerns related to fire evacuation risk, traffic impact, and neighborhood compatibility, and should not proceed without a full Environmental Impact Report and further community review.

Primary Concerns:


• Fire evacuation risks in a high-risk area

• Traffic impacts affecting local streets and school zones

• Concerns about scale and compatibility with the surrounding residential neighborhood

Our Request:


• Delay project consideration

• Require a full Environmental Impact Report (EIR)

• Provide additional time and outreach for community input
