Katy Yaroslavsky is a dedicated public servant and legal professional with a strong background in environmental policy and government affairs. She currently serves as the Councilmember for District 5 on the Los Angeles City Council. Katy earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of California, Berkeley. Her career has been marked by significant roles, including serving as the General Counsel & Director of Government Affairs at the Climate Action Reserve. She also worked as the Environment and Arts Policy Deputy in the office of Los Angeles County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl and gained legal experience as an Associate at Latham & Watkins LLP.
