The Issue
What if I told you that show choir is more than just singing and dancing in heels and costumes? It's a demanding, exhilarating activity that ignites passion, builds teamwork, and fosters incredible friendships--just like any other sports team!
Show choir blends the artistry of performance with the physical rigor of athleticism. From stunning choreography to powerful vocals, every rehearsal requires relentless dedication and commitment, resulting in a show that excites performers and audiences alike.
Our goal: We believe that students in show choir that aren't taking the honors version deserve to get credited with a PE credit for their hard work. Right now, show choir only counts as a Performing Arts credit but have you been in a varsity choir rehearsal?
Imagine a world where the efforts of those kids are acknowledged where they truly belong. Let's lower those barriers, recognize the skill, strength, dedication, and sweat that goes into every performance. Let's come together to advocate for this change!
