We, the undersigned, respectfully petition for the appointment of Coach Herman, current JV football coach at Northwood High School, to the position of Varsity Head Coach. Coach Herman has demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership, and commitment to the growth and development of our student-athletes. His impact on the players and the team has not only brought the JV team success this season but has also fostered a unique and invaluable team culture that encourages mental resilience, mutual respect, and unwavering unity.

This season, Coach Herman led the team to an outstanding record, achieving two significant wins and delivering one of Northwood’s best seasons in its history. Beyond just the numbers, Coach Herman has been a true mentor and role model to these young men. His ability to bring the players together, inspire them, and strengthen their confidence has been transformative for the entire program. With his guidance, each player feels valued, understood, and motivated to perform at their best.

Assistant Coach Termini has also made tremendous strides under Coach Herman’s influence, illustrating Coach Herman’s ability to not only guide players but also support the development of his coaching staff. His leadership qualities, strategic thinking, and dedication to the welfare of his players are precisely what Northwood’s varsity team needs to continue growing and achieving new milestones.

We believe Coach Herman is the best choice to lead Northwood’s football program forward as Varsity Head Coach. His commitment to the players, his inspiring mentorship, and his deep understanding of what it means to build a team from the inside out make him an invaluable asset to our community.
