Dear City Officials of Eden Prairie,

We, the undersigned residents of Eden Prairie, are writing to express our concern about the lack of competition among garbage haulers in our city. Currently, Republic and Waste Management are notorious for price hiking, and Suburban Waste Service keeps increasing their prices every year. As a result, residents are left with few options and are forced to pay high prices for essential services.

We believe that adding one more garbage hauler to the city of Eden Prairie would increase competition and provide residents with more options for affordable and reliable waste management services. We understand that this may require changes to current regulations, but we believe that it is in the best interest of our community.

Adding another garbage hauler would not only increase competition, but it would also give residents the freedom to choose a hauler that best suits their needs. It would also provide an opportunity for smaller haulers to compete, which could lead to better service and more competitive pricing for residents.

Therefore, we respectfully request that the city of Eden Prairie take action to add one more garbage hauler to the city. We urge you to consider the benefits this would provide to the residents of our community and work towards implementing this change as soon as possible.
