Petition to Remove COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates in Government and Healthcare Employment

We, the undersigned, respectfully call for the immediate removal of COVID-19 vaccination mandates requiring proof of vaccination as a condition of employment within government and healthcare sectors.

While vaccination programs were introduced during an unprecedented global health crisis, circumstances have significantly changed. Infection fatality rates, natural immunity, evolving variants, and updated public health guidance have altered the risk landscape. Continuing to enforce mandates that restrict employment based on vaccination status is no longer proportionate to the current public health situation.

Many individuals have raised concerns regarding reported adverse reactions and long-term safety monitoring of COVID-19 vaccines. Ongoing scientific debate and transparency are essential in maintaining public trust. Medical decisions should remain a matter of informed consent between individuals and their healthcare providers, free from coercion or threat to livelihood.

We believe:

Employment should not be conditional upon a specific medical intervention.
Individuals have the right to bodily autonomy and informed medical choice.
Policies should reflect current evidence, risk assessments, and evolving public health data.
Workforce shortages in government and healthcare sectors should not be exacerbated by exclusionary mandates.
We respectfully urge policymakers to:

Abolish mandatory proof-of-vaccination requirements for employment.
Reinstate workers previously dismissed or excluded due to vaccine mandates.
Ensure future public health policies protect both community health and individual rights.
Public health and personal freedom are not mutually exclusive. It is time to restore balance, trust, and fairness in employment practices.
