Bahlali, happy Sunday
Last year, over 190 000 of us joined hands and made a huge difference with government's proposed credit regulations. Thank you so much for standing with us. Now, we have another opportunity to make ourselves heard with this year's budget, but our window is very small.
This week, we made a submission to Parliament dealing with local government, and I'm now asking you to join us. We've launched a two-minute, anonymous survey on the budget to give your thoughts on what should be done about funding, service delivery and economic growth. Your input will help us build a stronger case for the changes our communities desperately need.
Our window is very short, though, as the deadline to file our submission is tomorrow, 08 March 2026. Please quickly take a moment to complete it and share your views on the following link: https://forms.office.com/r/N8bSm0bsRr
You can also read our newsletter, which explains the issue in more detail on the following link: https://fightingforbetter.substack.com/p/budget2026-join-us-in-making-a-case
Thank you again for being part of our efforts to push for better governance for all South Africans. And, yes, in the coming weeks and months, we will be re-engaging the issue of the credit regulations because much needs to be done there, too, and government intends to bring the issue back.
Best Regards,
Sabelo
