To The PL Board of Directors

Dear Members of the PL Board of Directors,

The undersigned Plantation Lakes Residents would like the Board to consider substantial changes to The Landing Restaurant management.  There were many serious issues and disappointments over the past couple of years which must be addressed before our restaurant can become an excellent place to eat and be entertained in.  We want our restaurant to succeed!  This requires significant improvements to the food quality, service and restaurant ambiance among other things.

The undersigned petitioners therefore ask the Board to consider making at the minimum the following three changes:

1. Replace restaurant management with a reputable company such as SoDel who specializes in running restaurant businesses in Sussex County. The time to experiment with hiring new Chefs is over (in the last 3 years we've seen at least 4 or 5 of them).  We believe that SoDel will be able to turn things around and make The Landing the BEST place in the area!
2.  Make The Landing a profitable business so that it can contribute to the upkeep of the Plantation Lakes and not vice versa.  Three yeas after its opening, the residents continue to support the restaurant and our HOA fees keep climbing.
3. Give incentives to residents who are the best hope for this restaurant to flourish.  We want to eat and spend our money here.  Furthermore, once the management problem is resolved, we can spread good news in social networks as nobody else can!  The incentives (such as food and drinks discounts) could easily be incorporated into the running of an effective business.
