Petition in Support of Carlos Duarte for President of The Optimist Club of West Kendall, Inc. 
 
To the Board of Directors, Members, Coaches, Parents, and Community of The Optimist Club of West Kendall, Inc.:  

We, the undersigned members of the West Kendall Soccer community, respectfully submit this petition in support of Carlos Duarte to be appointed and/or elected as the next President of The Optimist Club of West Kendall, Inc. 
 
For nearly three decades, Carlos Duarte has been a dedicated and influential leader within our organization. Having been an integral part of the West Kendall Soccer Program since September 2000, Carlos has devoted countless hours to serving the club, its players, families, coaches, and volunteers. His commitment, leadership, and passion for youth soccer have helped shape the identity and success of the program for over 25 years. 
 
Throughout his tenure, Carlos has consistently demonstrated an unwavering dedication to the mission of the Optimist Club: providing a positive, developmental, and community-centered environment where children can learn, grow, compete, and build lifelong memories through sports. 
 
More Than 25 Years of Service and Commitment 
Since September 2000, Carlos has been deeply involved in the growth and development of West Kendall Soccer. Few individuals possess the depth of experience, historical perspective, and institutional knowledge that Carlos brings to the organization. 
 
Proven Leadership 
Carlos has earned the trust and respect of generations of players, parents, coaches, and volunteers. His leadership style is built on integrity, collaboration, accountability, and a genuine commitment to serving the best interests of the club. 
 
Deep Understanding of the Club's History and Culture 
Carlos has witnessed the evolution of West Kendall Soccer firsthand. He understands the traditions, values, successes, and challenges that have shaped the organization and is uniquely positioned to preserve its legacy while guiding its future growth.

Over the years, Carlos has built lasting relationships throughout the West Kendall community. His ability to connect with families, volunteers, local organizations, and community leaders has strengthened the club's presence and impact.

Carlos has consistently championed opportunities that benefit young athletes. His focus has always extended beyond wins and losses, emphasizing character, teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and personal growth.

Therefore, we respectfully urge the Board of Directors and membership of The Optimist Club of West Kendall, Inc., to recognize Carlos Duarte's longstanding contributions and consider him the rightful and most qualified individual to assume the role of President.
