𝗧𝗼: The Leadership of the Democratic Alliance, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN)

𝗦𝘂𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁: Call for Immediate Removal of Councillor Aamir Abdul from Ward 110

We, the undersigned residents of Ward 110, hereby petition for the immediate removal of Councillor Aamir Abdul. Our demand is driven by a complete loss of faith in his ability to fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to him.
Councillor Abdul has repeatedly let down the residents of Ward 110 and the Democratic Alliance.

In 2021, Councillor Abdul took an oath to serve the residents of Ward 110 and to assist with service delivery issues. However, he has consistently failed to honor this commitment.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝟭𝟭𝟬 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗿:

• Consistently absent and unresponsive regarding service delivery issues, failing to communicate effectively with constituents. Rather than addressing concerns, he suggests joining the DA or leaving the forum.

• Displays blatant disrespect for the DA party and his constituency, often acting with rudeness, incompetence, and a lack of decorum.

• During crucial election periods, he is either late or entirely absent, exhibiting disorganization, a lack of ethics, and no assistance.

• The ward 110 branch is non-functional under his leadership as there isn't one.

• Frequently offers poor excuses during crises, with Aamir often AWOL and incapable of fulfilling his duties.

In light of these points, we, the residents of Ward 110, demand that the KZN leadership of the Democratic Alliance take immediate action to remove Councillor Aamir Abdul.
His continued presence as our representative is detrimental to the well-being of Ward 110 and undermines the values and integrity of the Democratic Alliance.

We, the residents of Ward 110, deserve a councillor who is dedicated, respectful, and competent – qualities that Councillor Abdul has consistently failed to demonstrate.

We urge you to act swiftly and decisively in removing Councillor Abdul and appointing a representative who will genuinely serve and address the needs of our community.
