The Issue

We, the undersigned, formally submit this petition to demand the immediate termination of Paula Kessler from her position as Manager of the Lirio Resources Thrift Store. It has become clear that Ms. Kessler’s leadership is not only ineffective but actively harmful to the reputation, staff, and core mission of this organization.

I. Pattern of Deception and Manipulation

Ms. Kessler has proven herself to be a masterful manipulator, maintaining a deceptive, two-faced persona that undermines the integrity of the workplace.

Unethical: Numerous former employees and associates have observed that she lacks basic moral standards, routinely prioritizing her own advancement over the truth.

Damaging Rhetoric: She has demonstrated a willingness to say anything—regardless of how damaging or false it may be—to maintain control or shift blame.

II. Unjust Termination and Defamation of a Veteran
The treatment of a 100% disabled veteran under Ms. Kessler’s supervision is a disgrace to the values of Lirio Resources.

Wrongful Dismissal: This individual was fired without a single verbal warning, coaching session, or opportunity for improvement, violating standard ethical employment practices.

Character Assassination: Following the termination, Ms. Kessler has been actively spreading lies regarding the reasons for the dismissal. Using her position to smear the reputation of a disabled veteran to cover her own administrative failings is predatory and inexcusable.

III. Failure to Uphold the Organizational Mission
A manager at Lirio Resources should embody empathy and service. Ms. Kessler’s actions prove she is fundamentally unsuited for this role:

Consumer Hostility: She has been frequently observed using a rude and condescending voice with consumers, creating a hostile environment for the very people the store is meant to serve.

Cruelty to Animals: The reported "dumping" of Whiskers the cat highlights a disturbing lack of compassion. A leader who treats a defenseless animal as disposable cannot be trusted to care for a community-based mission.

Conclusion
Paula Kessler’s presence is a liability. Her penchant for manipulation, her mistreatment of a disabled veteran, and her blatant disregard for human (and animal) dignity make her continued employment tenable.

Lirio Resources cannot claim to serve the community while harboring a manager who actively works against the principles of honesty, respect, and support. We request her immediate removal to restore the integrity of the thrift store.
