Dear Members of the World Ukrainian Congress,

We address you in a spirit of urgency and concern for the future of our beloved Ukraine. Over the past three years, the current government of Ukraine has faced unprecedented challenges and adversities, both externally and internally. While we acknowledge the ongoing efforts in the fight for sovereignty and security, it is our collective view that the present leadership has failed to deliver effective solutions for the pressing issues that continue to plague the nation.

In this critical moment in history, where the Ukrainian people are enduring severe hardships, we urge the World Ukrainian Congress to call upon the Government of Ukraine to take bold, decisive action by establishing a Government of National Rescue. This government must be comprised of individuals who are capable of uniting the nation, restoring stability, and navigating the complex challenges ahead with integrity, competence, and vision.

The Case for a Government of National Rescue

In the last three years, the following issues have become glaringly evident:

Security and Sovereignty: While the Ukrainian Armed Forces have shown exceptional bravery, the government's response to the ongoing threat has been inconsistent. The safety of Ukrainian citizens and the protection of the nation's territorial integrity are of paramount importance, yet challenges in resource mobilization, strategy, and international collaboration remain unresolved.
Economic Crisis: Ukraine is facing an unprecedented economic crisis that has resulted in widespread poverty, unemployment, and a lack of basic services for many citizens. The current government has not succeeded in reversing the economic downturn or implementing effective reforms to address the needs of the people.
Political Fragmentation: Ukraine’s political system remains fragmented, with deep divisions and open hostility between various factions that often hinder progress. This lack of unity within the government has further destabilized the political environment and contributed to a general sense of disillusionment among the populace.
Corruption and Governance: Despite promises of reform, corruption remains rampant, undermining the trust between the government and the people. Without strong and transparent leadership, efforts to rebuild Ukraine are consistently thwarted.
Given these challenges, it is evident that urgent changes are required to ensure the survival and prosperity of the Ukrainian state. We believe that a Government of National Rescue would bring together experienced leaders, respected figures from across the political spectrum, and trusted professionals who are committed to the well-being of Ukraine above all else.

What We Request
We respectfully ask the World Ukrainian Congress to:

Encourage the Government of Ukraine to establish a Government of National Rescue that is inclusive, competent, and dedicated to the national interest of Ukraine.
Support the selection of leaders who can unite the nation, implement vital reforms, and ensure that Ukraine’s sovereignty and independence are safeguarded.
Call for the swift creation of a plan that addresses Ukraine's security, economic recovery, anti-corruption measures, and the rebuilding of trust between the government and the people.
Advocate for the restoration of Ukraine's global standing by engaging international allies in a more strategic and effective manner.
In this present situation, we believe that bold leadership and a new approach to governance is vital to Ukraine’s survival as a country. A Government of National Rescue, free from the entanglements of partisan politics and focused on the greater good of the nation, is the best path forward to the victory of Ukraine.
