We, the concerned parents, teachers, and community members of Lubbock-Cooper West Elementary, have come together to call for the termination of the contract of the school principal, Sasha Bennett. The actions and performance of this principal have had a detrimental impact on the well-being and educational environment of our school.

Reasons for Termination:

• Lack of effective leadership: Sasha Bennett has consistently demonstrated ineffective leadership, resulting in a decline in morale, poor teacher retention, and a negative impact on the overall school climate.
• Inadequate support for teachers: Sasha Bennett has failed to provide sufficient support and resources for teachers, leading to increased workload and decreased job satisfaction. This has directly affected the quality of education provided to students.
• Disregard for student welfare: There have been multiple instances where Sasha Bennett has shown a lack of concern for student welfare, resulting in mental health crises and student arrests.
• Failure to address parent concerns: Sasha Bennett has consistently ignored or dismissed valid concerns raised by parents, creating frustration and alienation within the parent community.
• Retaliation against teachers, ancillary staff/faculty, substitute teachers, and students.
• Blocked efforts made by the PTO for fund raising and sponsorship opportunities, falsely citing “district policy”. 
• Removal of parent contact information from Skyward, thus impeding parent access to communication sent by the school and/or district via text message. 

We believe that terminating Sasha Bennett’s contract is necessary for the overall improvement and well-being of our school. We urge the school board and relevant authorities to take immediate action in addressing this matter and appointing a new principal who will prioritize the best interests of our students and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
