We, the undersigned members of the Millsap Elementary community, hereby petition for increased oversight and supervision of Principal Joy Dauphin by Cy-Fair ISD. Our concerns stem from:

  • Lack of Teacher Support: The high turnover rate among teachers and ongoing struggles in classrooms with student behavior issues indicate a lack of adequate support for educators.

  • Impact on Students: The constant turnover of teachers has resulted in disruptions to students' learning experiences, as evidenced by academic setbacks and lack of continuity in classroom management.

  • Need for Assistance: Mrs. Dauphin requires assistance in effectively handling behavioral concerns and providing the necessary support to retain teachers at our school.

  • Failure to Address Concerns: Attempts to address these issues directly with Mrs. Dauphin have been met with dismissiveness and lack of proactive solutions. Requests for support and communication regarding classroom incidents have been disregarded.

  • Desired Outcome: We seek for Mrs. Dauphin to become a more effective leader who actively addresses teacher turnover and student behavior issues, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to the success of both students and staff.

We urge the school district to initiate increased oversight of Principal Joy Dauphin to ensure the necessary improvements are made for the betterment of our school community.
