By the dozens, Logansport residents are expressing their frustration, concern and disappointment with the mayoral term of Chris Martin.

The number of signatures continues to grow daily and is now at 125.

Among the many reasons for the petition is the ongoing lack of commitment the mayor has for the Cass County Memorial Center, also known as the Memorial Home. He moved to dismiss the county from any responsibility for the building, which qualifies for the National Register of Historic Places. Yet he has said only that he is working with Councilman Scott Peattie to come up with a plan for it. Only minor work has been done to the exterior.

Meanwhile, five years after a Noblesville businessman offered to bring a business to the center and hire local residents, the center remains dark this holiday season when parties and receptions have traditionally been held there.

Please join us in demanding his resignation by signing this petition so that we can address issues such as the Memorial Center in the future. Do it for downtown, for the city, for historic preservation or just to make Logansport a better place to live, work and play.
