Petition for Parking Permits at New Islington Marina

Hey Everyone,

We need your help to get parking permits for all of us at New Islington Marina. With more people moving in and parking becoming a nightmare, it’s time we take action!

What's Happening: A while back, some of us made a deal with the New Islington Medical Centre to park in eight spaces. We put in the work ourselves—laying gravel, clearing the area, and making it safe for our cars. UKPC knew about this and didn’t ticket our cars (or some did and we won the court cases). But now, more cars are parking in our spaces without tickets, and it’s causing big problems. There is simply nowhere for us all to park that doesn't cost a fortune. 

Why We Need Permits: With Waterpride bringing in more contracts and cars, parking is getting worse. Our mooring fees have doubled, and paying for parking permits in nearby car parks isn’t doable for most of us.

What We Want: We believe we should be able to get residential parking permits through the council. We need your support to show there’s a big demand for this.
