We are calling for immediate changes regarding the security cameras in Strawberry Vale. Despite paying Peabody fees for these cameras, residents are repeatedly denied access to the footage, with the police being the only ones permitted to review it. Due to limited police resources, we are often told that footage cannot be shared, which is extremely frustrating, especially given the rising incidents of theft, car crashes, drug dealing, and drug use in our community.

Criminals in the area are aware of these limitations and are increasingly targeting our estate, knowing that residents cannot easily access the evidence needed to report crimes effectively. This situation is unacceptable and unfair, as we are funding these security measures yet unable to use them to protect our community.

We demand that residents be granted access to security camera footage as needed. This change will allow us to gather evidence and work with the police to combat crime more effectively.
